The dengue fever virus is a type of flu virus and is known as serotypes 1, 2, 3 and 4 (dengue 1, 2, 3 and 4).

The dengue mosquito (Aedes) lays its eggs in small containers inside the house in clean water. Its pora floats in an upside-down position, making angles in the water. It can be easily seen with the naked eye. This mosquito is known as the tiger mosquito, has black spots and white spots on the exposed part of the body, and can spread dengue if infected. The life cycle of the dengue virus continues in both humans and mosquitoes. When a female Aedes aegypti mosquito bites a dengue patient, the infection spreads to the mosquito and in 8 to 10 days the mosquito becomes infected. Such mosquitoes are contagious throughout life.

Female mosquitoes can live at normal temperatures for up to 6 weeks. Aedes mosquitoes live in barshakhs and other dark places in the house. These Aedes aegypti mosquitoes breed in our homes in water containers or in places where rainwater collects.
