The choice to file a no-belief motion against sitting prime minister Imran Khan of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) – who had held the position since the 2018 election – was taken at a summit of the enmity parties, united below the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) alliance.
