The State Election Commission has been constituted in accordance with the provisions of Articles 243 (D) and 243 (VK) of the Constitution of India and the existing laws / rules of local self-governing bodies. The State Election Commission manages, oversees and guides the elections of the Ruiswaraj units of the constitutional government.
The State Election Commission has in the past issued several orders for the implementation of the Code of Conduct for smooth conduct of elections to the units of Swarajya, free and fair environment and fair and fair elections. It seems necessary to issue comprehensively integrated guidelines for smooth implementation of these commands.
For the implementation of the Model Code of Conduct, the State Election Commission is directed to follow the following instructions instead of the instructions given earlier, in accordance with the powers conferred by the Constitution of India. This code of conduct has to be implemented by political parties, candidates, ruling party, office bearers, heads of various departments / administrative departments of the Government etc.
Order: The Code of Conduct for General / Mid-Session / By-Elections of the Units of Swarajya should be adequately enforced from the date of announcement of election till the announcement of election result in the areas under election of that organization. At the time of such elections, the ruling party, political parties, administration and candidates will have to implement the following details of the Code of Conduct. For more read below letter.
