 Comedian Raju Srivastav’s demise: India has one less reason to laugh as ‘Gajodar Bhaiyya’ is no more 




Actor- funnyman Raju Srivastav, who came a ménage name in his pleasurable ‘ Gajodhar Bhaiyya ’ act, breathed his last on September 21, aged 58. 

 

 funnyman Raju Srivastav, who was known for his earthy humour and incomparable delivery style, passed away on Wednesday, September 21, aged 58. The popular funnyman battled for his life for 43 days, albeit, breathed his last at the All India Institute of Medical lores( AIIMS). He was in the sanitarium since August 9 after he complained of casket pain and collapsed in the South Delhi spa where he was working out. 

He was at formerly moved to the Intensive Care Unit and put on a ventilator. Croakers had also said that he'd suffered brain damage 

 

 All about ‘ The King of Comedy ’ 

 Srivastav, who came a ménage name in his pleasurable ‘ Gajodhar Bhaiyya ’ persona, was born on December 25, 1963 as Satya Prakash Srivastava. He latterly came notorious as Raju Srivastava and belonged to a middle- class family in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. 


 After his share of original struggles, he attracted notice by mimicking megastar Amitabh Bacchanal's iconic baritone voice. He appeared in small places in Bollywood flicks, similar as the 1989 Salman Khan- starrer ‘ Maine Pyaar Kiya ’, Shah Rukh Khan’s film ‘ Baazigar ’, ‘ Aamdani Atthani Kharcha Rupaiyaa ’( 2001), ‘ Main Prem Ki Deewani Hoon ’( 2003), ‘ Big Family ’( 2007) and ‘ Bombay To Goa ’( 2007), among numerous others. 


 Comedy stint 

 Still, a big advance came for him in 2005, with the first season of ‘ The Great Indian horselaugh Challenge ’, which opened the doors for him in the world of stage- up comedy. He ended up as alternate runner- up and also was also part in the spin- off, ‘ The Great Indian horselaugh Challenge – titleholders ’, where he was awarded with the title of ‘ The King of Comedy ’. 


 In 2009, he joined the reality show ‘ Bigg Boss 3 ’, followed by ‘ Comedy Ka Maha Muqabala ’. He kept pushing the envelope and in 2013, along with his woman Shikha, shared in the popular cotillion show ‘ Nach Bali-ye ’ Season 6. He also appeared on ‘ Comedy Nights with Kapil ’.  

Not just comedy and flicks, he indeed fanned out into politics and joined the Bharatiya Jana ta  Party. Prime Minister Narendra Modi indeed named him to be a part of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.
