District wise result of the second (descriptive) examination will be decided by the cutoff. The district will then invite merit-based candidates as required for the third phase of the selection process by GCERT - GSQAC.

The state government is presently arranging a Gujarat School Quality Accreditation Council (GSQAC) - a body that will rate schools in the state in view of a smoothed out technique, and will give a precise disclosure of the school's scholastic legitimacy.
