Sasnkrit Sahity STD 6 to 8

To learn the language well, scholars need to use the language in meaningful contexts - it is said, "Learn to do it by doing it". No one can learn to swim by trying to swim without entering the water.  In the process of language learning, scholars should be given the opportunity to use new language in a variety of ways.

In the above teaching practice, the teacher knows very well that the scholars do not know the composition of the individual words and linguistic functions used by them, but they can know the meaning.  Here is the purpose of contextual communication.  During the process of using such phrases and sentences (we can identify them as 'part of the language') students can learn the language unknowingly without any worries and they start using it automatically in their conversation.

This insert enriches the environment where the language can be viewed, recorded and used by users, and thus enhances their language proficiency.  It is not enough to give language rich input in the classroom, it is necessary for the students to communicate with their peers and teachers and use the language for more purpose than given to them during the insertion time.

Printed materials such as language insertions, textbooks and supplementary materials acquired by scholars need to be supported by giving them an opportunity for class interactions.  Interactions with teachers and friends with others encourage scholars to use language for a variety of purposes.

Create a conducive environment in the classroom and ensure that all students participate.  Connect the daily life, culture and society of the scholars to learn the language.  Plan and use activities such as paired work, group work, and effective interactions in the classroom.

Create class libraries to promote reading groups, peer reading and study groups. Use role-play and storytelling as a strategy to teach four language skills.  Meaningfully reflect on the events of everyday life.  Use inputs.  Media such as magazines, newspapers, information and communication technology etc. in the classroom
